A CCTV Surveillance System was implemented for Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara to support security monitoring within the premises and provide better visibility across designated areas. The project was carried out with consideration for the department’s daily operations, staff activities, and movement of members of the public within the facility.
The installation involved the deployment of CCTV cameras and related surveillance equipment at selected areas based on the site layout and monitoring requirements. Camera positions were arranged according to the physical environment and intended viewing areas, allowing the system to provide suitable coverage of key locations within the premises.
During the installation, attention was given to the positioning of cameras, viewing angles, cable routing, network connections, and supporting equipment. These elements were coordinated with the existing building conditions so that the surveillance system could be incorporated into the facility while maintaining the normal operation of the department.
As Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara provides public-facing services, the CCTV system supports monitoring in areas where staff and members of the public interact on a daily basis. The surveillance system also provides recorded video information that can be referred to when required for security, operational, or administrative purposes.
The implementation included CCTV equipment installation, system configuration, camera adjustment, recording setup, and functional verification. Following installation, individual cameras were checked to confirm their viewing coverage and image quality, while the overall system was tested to ensure the surveillance and recording functions operated properly.
Installation activities were coordinated according to the department’s operating environment to minimise unnecessary disruption to staff and visitors. Existing site conditions were considered throughout the work, including equipment placement, cable management, and access for future servicing and maintenance.
After the installation and testing stages were completed, the CCTV Surveillance System was placed into operation. The completed system provides Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara with a structured surveillance setup for monitoring designated areas and supporting the department’s ongoing security and facility management requirements.
The project reflects the practical implementation of CCTV surveillance within a government administrative environment, where appropriate camera coverage, organised system installation, and consistent monitoring form part of the day-to-day management of public facilities.
