Successful Completion of Maybank Branches Security System Project

A comprehensive security system project was completed across multiple Maybank branches, involving the installation and integration of security, access management, alarm, and entrance automation systems to support the operational and security requirements of each location.

The scope of work included the implementation of CCTV Surveillance Systems, Alarm Systems, Timed Control Systems, Roller Shutters, Card/PIN Access Systems, Automatic Sliding Glass Doors, Automatic Swing Glass Doors, Sensors, Controllers, Electronic Locks, and Emergency Release Systems. The project also covered system configuration, functional testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support to ensure the installed systems were ready for daily operation.

As each branch operates within a different building environment, installation requirements varied according to the layout, operational schedule, existing infrastructure, and specific security arrangements of each location. Coordination was carried out individually for each branch to ensure the installation process aligned with daily banking activities while minimising disruption to staff and customers.

The project brought together several security and entrance-related systems within each branch. CCTV systems provided surveillance coverage for designated areas, while access control and Card/PIN systems supported controlled entry. Alarm systems were incorporated to provide additional security monitoring, with sensors and related components configured according to the requirements of the respective locations.

The entrance automation works included Automatic Sliding Glass Doors, Automatic Swing Glass Doors, Roller Shutters, and associated control components. Electronic locks, emergency release systems, sensors, and controllers were installed and configured as part of the overall system arrangement, allowing the different components to operate according to their intended functions.

Installation works included equipment mounting, wiring, cable connections, system configuration, and functional verification. Since the project covered multiple branches, each installation was reviewed according to its individual site conditions rather than applying exactly the same arrangement to every location.

Upon completion of the installation works, testing and commissioning were carried out at the respective branches. The CCTV, alarm, access control, entrance automation, sensors, electronic locks, and related components were checked to verify their operation and system communication. Maintenance and troubleshooting were also carried out where required during the implementation and support stages.

Final checks were conducted before the systems were placed into service to ensure the completed installations were operating according to the project requirements. The completed security infrastructure supports the different operational functions required within each Maybank branch, from surveillance and controlled access to alarm monitoring and automated entrance management.

The project reflects the practical requirements of implementing integrated security systems across multiple active banking locations. By maintaining a coordinated approach while allowing for the different conditions of each branch, the completed installations provide a consistent security framework that supports the day-to-day operation of Maybank branches.
